On this Journey
On this Journey
So I finally got the nerve to start a blog. It’s been a long time coming & I can’t say I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner because I believe in the power of timing so now was the time. I have been sharing my thoughts and experience for as long as I can remember. Something about getting it out into the universe has always felt freeing, load lighting would be a more accurate description of what it feels like to me. I have shared everything from new shoes to parenting, experiments in cooking, eating, dieting and yoga. I’ve shared my experiences of happiness/joy as well as my experiences of anxiety & depression. Epiphanies and awaking are also things I’ve shared. Sharing my thoughts & experiences has been a way to connect myself to myself in a different way. They say theirs nothing like the written word, something about seeing things in writing brings it to a new level. Sharing has made me accountable, truthful, vulnerable, brave, daring and so much more. On this journey we don’t get a manual of what it’s supposed to be and nor would I want one at this point but by sharing our experiences we provide some insight on what it can be and that its ok for it to be look and feel like what it is.
I choose the title ‘On this Journey’ as I was creating the set up for this blog (work in progress). Thinking about what this blog was going to be about, what would I share? I truly believe in speaking from what I know and where I have been and decided that that’s what I would share. So I know about shoes, parenting, cooking, eating, dieting, yoga, happiness/joy, anxiety, depression, epiphanies & awakings and a little more.
So now that I’ve shared a little about myself and what to expect from my blog I hope to inspire, encourage and engage On this Journey.
