Service Description
A slow flow yoga practice for all levels, reserved for the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community. This yoga flow class is a celebration of community, empowerment, and self-love. Flow, gather, and connect. Enjoy a slow flow with plenty of time before and after to gather and share space. Cambridge native Malaika has been teaching Vinyasa, Restorative, and Chair yoga in and around Boston/Cambridge & Somerville since 2015. 500hr Truama Informed certified yoga instructor Malaika offers a slow flow yoga style supporting alignment, balance & strength. Her goal is to offer her students an accessible yoga practice with variations that support and honor where they are both mentally and physically each time they arrive on their yoga mat. Malaika strives to support her students' mental and physical health & healing through the practice of yoga, pranayama (breath work), meditation, and sound healing. Sunday's monthly at 11AM Sliding Scale $8 - 20, registration required at www.wildemberstudio.com Wild Ember Studio is located at 830 Mass Ave Arlington, MA. 02476 Accessible by bus #67 & #350 from Alwife Station (Short walk from bus stop to the studio) or #77 from Harvard Sq ( let’s you off just steps away from the studio). This is a space for BIPOC to join in community to practice yoga together. Please be mindful about honoring this space. If you are not BIPOC, you may join any of our other classes. Thank you.
